2017 Annual Meeting & Expo and 75th Anniversary Celebration
The NASBP 2017 Annual Meeting and 75th Anniversary Celebration will be held April 23-26, in Boca-Raton, FL. Focusing on this year’s theme, "Building the Bonds of Surety-Honoring Our Past. Defining Our Future," we will first celebrate the history of the Association and surety as well as update attendees on important current industry topics. On Tuesday, we will explore our changing business environment and what we can do today to assure surety remains relevant in the future.
Looking forward and planning for the future of the industry will be a focal point of the programming. Because ensuring that the surety industry has an abundant talent pool is one of the industry's most pressing concerns, we will be providing content that interests new professionals in our industry justifying the attendance expense to their management.
This Annual Meeting will have many special features commemorating this historic year for the Association. A few of the additions for this distinctive meeting include a walk-through exhibit that takes you on a journey through the industry’s history, extended programming, and a commemorative booklet for every attendee that is sure to be a keepsake for years to come.
The meeting kicks off on Sunday evening with the Welcome Reception, a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and network with new ones. We conclude on Tuesday evening with the final event, which will feature a selection of food stations, the return of the amazing band Emerald City from last year’s final event at the Broadmoor, a separate lounge area for conversation, and the Diamond Giveaway where one lucky attendee will walk away with something sparkly. Attire for the evening is “Beach Formal” so there is no need to bring that tux along unless you want to!
The historic Boca Raton Resort and Club offers a wide variety of onsite dining options, activities for all ages, a world-class spa, award-winning golf, beach accessibility and countless amenities.
I encourage you to take a moment today to register for this year’s meeting and book your hotel room as soon as possible. NASBP has secured a significantly larger block of rooms for this historic meeting but the Resort is filling up quickly.
I look forward to seeing you in Florida.
