Many parties involved in the construction process and surety industry are often quick to point fingers at surety companies for poor claims handling. As surety producers, we need to understand that we can be doing a much better job both preventing claims and assisting in managing expectations when claims do arise.  Just as surety producers add tremendous value to the underwriting process, the opportunity also exists to add value to the claims process.  This panel discussion will provide you with the insight and knowledge you need as a surety producer to have a very positive impact by being “present” in the claims process.  Panel participants will include senior surety underwriting and claims executives, a surety producer, and a contractor.

12:15 - 2:15 pm Breakout Session #2
"Paperless Surety is Here – Don’t Let it Pass You By"

Our panel of experts will provide you with the need-to-know items on the next generation of bonding. Key topics such as electronic issuance, indemnity, authority, and risk management will be discussed from the agency’s point of view. Don’t miss out on an excellent summary of the critical areas of interest for your agency, customers, and workflow management as the surety industry embraces the electronic environment.
