Welcome

NASBP 2018 Annual Meeting & Expo

April 29 - May 2
The Phoenician Resort
Scottsdale, AZ

Dear Colleague:

The NASBP 2018 Annual Meeting & Expo will be held April 29 – May 2 at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. Coming off the 75th Anniversary year of the Association, this year’s theme of: “Building on a Solid Foundation” will focus on taking a look at where the industry is and where it is going.

We could not ask for a better host location for the event. The Phoenician is currently finishing the third and final phase of the most extensive renovations the resort has experienced since its opening in 1998. By the time NASBP arrives in April the resort will have completed renovations that include the resort main lobby, multiple on-site restaurants, including the brand-new Mowry and Cotton, pool complex (which will include 8 pool areas and an adults-only pool), retail space, and a brand new three-level luxury spa.

The meeting kicks off on Sunday evening with the welcome reception, a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and network with new ones. We conclude on Tuesday evening with the final event, which will feature a selection of food stations, the return of the amazing band Emerald City from last year’s final event, and a separate lounge area for dessert and conversation. There will be some new additions to the meeting schedule this year, including a “Happy Hour” event in the Expo Hall on Sunday afternoon and an awards breakfast on Tuesday morning.

I encourage you to take a moment today to register for this year’s meeting and book your hotel room as soon as possible. The NASBP has secured almost the entire resort inventory of rooms and the block is filling up quickly. I look forward to seeing you in Scottsdale!

Best Regards,

Howard Cowan, NASBP President
