Limited Space Available Only in Level I Surety School

The Winter Session of the NASBP William J. Angell Surety School Level I has a few spaces left for the session that will be held Jan. 22-25 in Houston. Taught by a dedicated team of producers and underwriters, the NASBP Surety School creates an environment where industry beginners get hands-on experience in the basics of understanding contractors’ financials and analyzing the work in process.

Over the course of three days, Level I offers an introduction to the surety industry that familiarizes students with the function and process of bonding, with an emphasis on understanding how contractors’ financials are analyzed during the underwriting process. This course is intended not only for assistant, associate, trainee and new producers and underwriters but also for administrative assistants, account managers, risk advisors and executive assistants, among others. The registration fee for members, affiliates and associates is $1,350; the registration fee for non-members is $2,700. Please click here for Level I information.

Please note: The NASBP website is closed for year-end maintenance from Dec. 22 until Jan. 3; we will not accept registrations for any events during this period.

School attendees are responsible for making their own sleeping room accommodations with the JW Marriott Houston Galleria. NASBP students receive a discounted rate of $199 (plus applicable taxes). To guarantee the rate, reservations must be made before Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.
