Register for NASBP Summer Surety School

Join NASBP for the Summer Session of the Surety School, July 31- August 4, in Dallas, TX. The William J. Angell Surety School and the Angell-Curtin Advanced Surety School—Level III offer an opportunity for participants with varying levels of knowledge and expertise to receive expert and comprehensive training from surety professionals as well as the opportunity to establish professional relationships with industry peers. Many students, like Buck Ford, who recently completed Level II, know the value of the NASBP Surety School. “There was a wealth of knowledge that provided a challenging environment. So anyone who wishes to be in the surety industry and grow in their profession should definitely go through these schools.” said Ford, who is Chief Operating Officer, Surety Placement Services, LLC, in Scottsdale, AZ.

NASBP will offer all three levels during the Summer Session. Level I will provide an introduction to the surety industry and familiarization with the function and process of bonding. Level II will provide an understanding of producer, surety and contractor relationships plus techniques for gathering contractor information and preparation of the case submission to the surety. Level III will provide instruction for experienced bond producers and underwriters with at least five years of surety experience. Level III will not be held in 2018; it will be held again in 2019.
