NASBP Recaps Member Accomplishments This Past Year

As the year of 2017 comes to a close, NASBP members and staff can be proud of the unique and robust initiatives they took on this past year to meet the needs and interests of the NASBP community well into the future.

NASBP invites you to peruse the NASBP Highlights - The Year in Review 2017, which recaps how through NASBP’s growing Community NASBP is building on a solid foundation for the future through Leadership, Advocacy, Outreach, Education, and Celebration!

For example, for the first-time in the Association’s history, NASBP has retained a public relations firm to conduct research and to develop deliverables for a public relations campaign to benefit NASBP members and the surety product. This fall, NASBP launched the first phase of this campaign to obtain quantitative research to ensure accurate and effective messaging to opinion elites and decision-makers.

Other unique initiatives NASBP has undertaken this year include releasing NASBP’s first Joint Ventures for Construction online continuing education course; providing an amendment to the U.S. House National Defense Authorization Act that removes the Miller Act from periodic threshold increases as required under Title 41; delivering a Surety Innovation Center featuring cutting-edge technology in development that will advance the industry; reaching out and collaborating in new ways with construction industry organizations and service providers; and celebrating NASBP’s 75 years of existence.

Be sure to take a few minutes to see the pictures and captions in the NASBP Highlights - The Year in Review 2017 that spotlight NASBP member accomplishments in 2017 of which we can all be proud. It is also available as a pdf.
