Discover from our panel of experts as they discuss the industry’s response to the National Telecommunications & Information Administration’s (NTIA) announcement to accept surety bonds as an alternative form of security to letters of credit (LOCs) for its Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program.  Among the topics discussed include: a timeline of the industry’s long-time involvement with issue, the formation for the surety working group in response to NTIA’s pronouncement, culminating with development of the BEAD Bond Kit which includes two performance bond forms, and model language addressing bond requirements in BEAD broadband agreements.
