The NASBP William J. Angell Surety School offers expert and comprehensive training for surety professionals with varying levels of knowledge and expertise. This prestigious education program provides an opportunity to establish professional relationships with industry peers.

The Summer 2021 Surety School is being held August 1-6, 2021 at the Charlotte Marriott City Center in Charlotte, NC. Level I, II, III, and Commercial Surety School will be offered during Surety School.

Level 1 Surety SchoolLevel I - August  1-4, 2021- Provides an introduction to the surety industry and familiarization with the function and process of bonding.

Level II - August 1-6, 2021 - Provides an understanding of producer, surety, and contractor relationships plus techniques for gathering contractor information and preparation of the case submission to the surety.

Level III - August 3-6, 2021 - Provides an in-depth examination of advanced financial analysis and underwriting, marketing and sales strategies, insurance/risk transfer/risk management, and strategic industry issues.

Commercial Surety School - August 3-6, 2021 - Provides a deep dive into commercial surety including legal requirements, financial analysis, underwriting processes, participant rules, and risks, allowing students to work through case studies from across a diverse array of industries protected by the commercial surety product and encompassing numerous types of bonds.
