NASBP Increases Government Relations Team by Hiring Manager of State Relations 

NASBP is pleased to announce that on February 25, Shannon Crawford started in her role as Manager of State Relations for NASBP. Her responsibilities include monitoring of and advocating for state legislative and regulatory activity; authoring articles for various NASBP newsletters; and responding to state-related inquiries and issues.

Crawford began her career at the Solid Waste Association of North America advancing to the position of Manager of Government Affairs. Recently, she was Manager of Legislative & Industry Affairs at the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) where she monitored and reported on state and federal legislation and regulations. In addition, at DBIA, Crawford staffed the Legislative, Water/Wastewater, and Transportation Committees and collaborated with industry associations to advance legislative efforts at the state level and in the U.S. Congress.
