Save the Date for 2016 Annual Mtg & Expo

The Broadmoor Recently Completed a Multi-Million Dollar Renovation

Mark your calendar and save the date for the 2016 NASBP Annual Meeting & Expo to be held at the Broadmoor Resort, Colorado Springs, CO, May 15 to 18. The NASBP room block is open for reservations.

The Broadmoor Resort has completed a multi-million dollar renovation in the last two years and the enhanced facility includes new restaurants, an expanded Golden Bee bar; new entertainment options like the upscale PLAY restaurant and lounge that includes a bowling alley, shuffle board table, and game monitors; and all new West Building guest rooms. Visit the www.nasbp.org Annual Meeting website in January for more information on booking your room and registering for the Meeting. View the pictures below of the facility taken when NASBP President Susan Hecker and her Program Committee Co-chairs Brian Ayres and Chad Martin checked out the facility this summer with their spouses.

The theme for the 2016 Annual Meeting is: It’s all about the People—Building Engagement and Thriving Businesses. This message will be tied into the programming throughout the meeting with a focus on the transfer of information to the next generation of surety industry leaders. The Keynote Session, “The Key to Perpetuating Success: Focus on Others,” will be followed by a panel on successful succession planning. In addition, there will be a panel presentation on joint ventures and an opportunity for continuing education credit included in the 2016 program.

The 2016 Annual Meeting kicks off on Sunday evening with the welcome reception, a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and network with new ones. The Meeting concludes on Tuesday evening with a banquet sit-down dinner and the return of the amazing band Emerald City, which performed at the 2012 Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL. The 2016 Meeting will provide a new layout for the final event that includes a lounge area separate from the main dining area for those guests who would prefer a more relaxing atmosphere for a drink and conversation away from the dance floor.

We hope to see you in Colorado!
