NASBP is thrilled to offer three workshops this summer and fall. The first will be NASBP’s first NASBP Commercial Surety School! This 2-day workshop will be held Aug. 2-3, in West Palm Beach, FL. and provides a deep dive into commercial surety. The instructors are commercial surety producers with years of experience, they will outline key elements of commercial surety including legal requirements, underwriting processes, participant roles, and risks.
In addition, there will be two workshops held in conjunction with the 2018 Regional Meetings. The NASBP Leadership Workshop will be held on September 19th immediately after the Regions 8, 9, 10 & 11 Meeting in Charleston, SC, and NASBP Sales Workshop on October 2-3 preceding the Regions 4, 5, 6 & 7 Meeting in New Orleans, LA.
The NASBP Leadership Workshop will focus on leading across generations in the surety industry and with that framing participants will gain a better understanding of their style through a DiSC assessment and analysis and its impact on management and leadership and leave with takeaways and next steps on how to move forward in today's world, where for the first time in recent history, there are three generations in the workforce.
The NASBP Sales Workshop is back this year by popular demand and is designed specifically to help surety bond producers define and hone their sales process by learning the strategies and practices used by the top producers in our industry. Participants will leave with clear, actionable practices that can be implemented immediately. Adding to this already great content participants this year will also complete the MCORE assessment to help identify their unique pattern of motivated behavior and an understanding of how to use that information to achieve better outcomes!
