Angell Surety School is the premier educational event for surety professionals. For more than four decades, the School has provided students with the opportunity to learn the business from the top surety producers and underwriters in the country.
This session of the 2025 NASBP Winter Surety School will offer Contract Surety Schools Level I and II and Commercial Surety School Level I. Contract Surety School Level I will provide an introduction to the surety industry and familiarization with the function and process of bonding. Contract Surety School Level II will provide an understanding of the producer, surety, and contractor relationship plus techniques for gathering contractor information and preparation of the case submission to the surety. Commercial Surety School Level I will provide an understanding of key elements of commercial surety, including legal requirements, financial analysis, underwriting processes, participant roles, and risks through real-life examples and case studies.
