On August 16, 2013, NASBP submitted comments to the Contracting Officer of a Cliffside Gas Field Project in Amarillo, Texas. NASBP stated the liquidated damages ($357,096.00 for each calendar day) requirements would stifle overall competition for the project and, in addition, would sabotage and subvert the stated project goals. Following our letter the CO quickly responded to NASBP and significantly reduced the liquidated damages.
