Plan to attend the NASBP Fly-in to join your colleagues to advocate for surety and to meet with your federal lawmakers on Capitol Hill. The 2016 Legislative Fly-in will begin the evening of Tuesday, June 7, at a reception at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., during which NASBP will provide talking points for Fly-in attendees.
On Wednesday, June 8, attendees will be served continental breakfast and enjoy a short program. The rest of the day will be dedicated to Capitol Hill appointments and will end with an evening cocktail reception at the Hyatt Regency.
NASBP Federal Construction Contracting Seminar June 9
Then, the day immediately following the Fly-in, attend the Federal Construction Contracting seminar held from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, which NASBP and the international construction law firm of Peckar & Abramson have organized,
Attorneys from the law firm of Peckar & Abramson will give presentations on critical federal procurement topics such as fraud allegations, joint venture agreements, mentor-protégé agreements, and Small Business Administration regulations.
NASBP encourages seminar attendees to come early and join the Fly-in attendees at the Wednesday, June 8 cocktail reception, which will wrap-up the Fly-in. The seminar includes a continental breakfast and a working lunch.
Both the Fly-in and the Seminar will take place at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. If you register for the NASBP Fly-in, you will receive a discount on your seminar registration fee in the amount of your Fly-in registration fee. NASBP will announce details on how to register for one or both events the week of March 7.
