Welcome

I am ecstatic to invite you to the NASBP 2023 Annual Meeting & Expo that will be held April 30 – May 3 at The JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Marco Island, FL.  The resort encountered only minor damage from this fall’s Hurricane Ian.  They are back in tip-top shape and ready to welcome NASBP in April.  This beachfront resort is truly one of a kind, and we plan to incorporate all it has to offer into the program for our event.

As I look back on the first half of my year as President and focus on my theme of “NASBP with Passion and Purpose”, a major point to my theme is something I routinely encounter each time I attend a NASBP meeting and engage with other NASBP Members and Affiliates. There is so much to gain, personally and professionally, from active participation in these events. We are expecting a record-breaking year of attendance at this year’s Annual Meeting & Expo.

The program committee has worked hard to craft and develop sessions that will provide valuable takeaways you can take back to your office as well as unique social events that will allow everyone to relax and have some fun.  There will be some new additions to the agenda this year, including more opportunities for the spouses and guests to network.

We will officially kick the meeting off on Sunday evening with a laid-back welcome reception on the beach.  Marco’s beach is a hard pack and easy to walk on, but flip flops are also welcome. The theme of Tuesday evening's closing event will be “Havana Nights”. A celebration of the passionate Cuban Culture in South Florida

Rookery or Hammock Bay Golf Practice Facility Privileges to include Range Balls, Clubs, Bottled Water, One hour Access to Hammock Bay Country Club Tennis Courts per day. One beach umbrella rental daily.

Room reservations are held on a first-come, first-served basis and NASBP cannot guarantee an accommodation once the room block is sold out.  A one night deposit is required at time of making the reservation.  This deposit will not be refunded if the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to check-in.
