Another Outstanding NASBP Summer School

This year the Summer Session of the NASBP William J. Angell Surety School took place July 29 - August 3 in West Palm Beach, FL and hosted the inaugural offering of NASBP’s Commercial Surety School! Throughout the week, 15 surety professionals guided nearly 100 students from across the U.S., U.S. Territories, and Canada through a rigorous and engaging educational program.

In addition to diving deep into an immense amount of content, the NASBP Surety School also fosters strong bonds between students and faculty. At every NASBP School, the students, bound together by this immersive experience, identify the student whom they consider to be the Most Outstanding Pupil (MOP) to receive a memento signed by all the students and faculty in their class. Receiving the coveted football in Level I was Jazmarie Sanchez of AmTrust Surety. Level II students had a tie, selecting both Brian Wilder of Lovitt & Touché, Inc. and Langmia Fonjoe (not pictured) of Nationwide Management Liability and Specialty, Surety and Fidelity to receive the football. The inaugural class of the Commercial Surety School also took part in this tradition and selected Michelle Patterson of Merchants Bonding Company to receive the MOP signed football!
