Limited Space Available at the 2019 NASBP Level I and II Winter Surety School

The 2019 Winter Session of the NASBP William J. Angell Surety School has a few spaces left in Level I and II for the Session that will be held January 27- February 1 in Sugar Land, TX. Taught by a dedicated team of producers and underwriters, the NASBP Surety School offers expert and comprehensive training for surety professionals with varying levels of knowledge and expertise. This prestigious education program provides an opportunity to establish professional relationships with industry peers.

Level I - January 27-30 

This curriculum includes an overview of the surety industry, introductory financial statement analysis, work in process concepts and application, surety credit information gathering techniques, submissions to surety companies, review of regularly encountered surety documents and bond forms, commercial surety, and introduction to claims handling concepts.

This course is rated "basic/introductory." It is intended for the student who has little or no knowledge of the subject matter or who has little or no prior experience with the subject matter.

Level II - January 27- February 1

This curriculum includes intensive training in contractor profiling, detailed financial analysis, concepts and effective practices of account activation and service, claims handling, industry marketplace changes, and ethics.

This course is rated "intermediate." It is intended for the student who has a basic knowledge with the subject matter or who has limited experience with the subject matter.

Please note: The NASBP website will be closed for year-end maintenance from Dec. 21 through Jan. 2 (reopening on Jan. 3); we will not accept registrations for any events during this period.
