Clear your calendar for the May 20 NASBP Virtual Event: Bonding with Bandwidth!
This complimentary event for NASBP Members, Affiliates, iStock-599476720.jpgand Associates will be a unique experience for the membership on Wednesday, May 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. Eastern.

This NASBP event will provide information specific to your needs and will feature two panel discussions. 
The first panel, "Moving Toward An Electronic Bonding World: Will Covid-19 Be The Impetus?," presented by Corban Enns of the Member firm Surety Solutions, LLC; Greg Davenport of Affiliate Member Liberty Mutual Surety; and Julie Alleyne, General Counsel of The Surety & Fidelity Association of America, will address the recent industry efforts to obtain electronic bonding acceptance by public and private owners.

The second panel presentation, "False Claims Act Implications For Surety Professions - What Have We Learned From Scollick: Keep Your Eyes Open! A Fraud Warning To The Surety Industry,” will focus on False Claims Act liability implications for surety professionals. You don't want to miss the eye-opening information two of NASBP's Attorney Advisory Council participants, Tim Heffernan of Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, LLP and David Robbins of Crowell & Moring LLP, will share. 

Both sessions will be interactive, so you will be able to ask questions throughout each presentation. Please consider making notes now of questions you will have for our presenters!  
Bonding with Bandwidth will also include important NASBP business--Immediate Past President and Nominating Chair Bob Shaw will announce the new NASBP Board of Directors for 2020-2021 and John Bustard will present surety industry awards, recognizing several NASBP colleagues along with a brief message as outgoing President. The final address will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the NASBP activities in store for the coming year, which will be presented by the incoming President.
