Access to Industry Bond Forms

BEAD Program Surety Bond Information Kit
NASBP and The Surety & Fidelity Association of America (SFAA) have prepared this free kit, including bond forms, to address the announcement of the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce to allow surety bonds as an alternative form of security to letters of credit (LOCs) for the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program. Of the two bond forms, one bond form addresses situations when the internet service provider (ISP) can qualify for bonding and furnishes the bond directly to the state broadband office. The second bond form addresses situations where the contractor to the ISP that is building out the broadband system is better suited to qualify for bonding.

DBIA Bond Forms Now Available

NASBP is pleased to announce that the NASBP Membership can access the 14 Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) bond forms that DBIA recently published.

NASBP Bond Forms
Through discussions with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Contract Documents Program and ACD Operations, LLC, NASBP secured the permission of AIA to create NASBP-equivalents of the current editions of its bid bond document, AIA Document A310-2010, performance bond and payment bond document, AIA Document A312-2010, and warranty bond document, AIA Document A313-2020.

Producer's Tool Kit
The NASBP Producers Tool Kit contains templates for frequently used forms. Each form allows the agency to brand it using their agency logo and contact information.

NASBP is an endorsing organization of the ConsensusDocs Coalition, an unprecedented effort by 42 industry organizations to identify industry best practices and to incorporate such practices in a new generation of consensus industry standard form documents. By fairly allocating risk and incorporating best practices, ConsensusDocs help reduce costly claims and contingencies, saving project time and money.

As a service and convenience to the NASBP membership, NASBP is providing the EJCDC bond forms.
