Virtual Events Header

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the NASBP Virtual Event Series this year! The NASBP Virtual Event Series allowed us to keep the membership connected and offer timely and important industry content at a time when meeting in-person was not an option. 2020-2021 NASBP President Mark Munekawa's theme, "Must Be Present To Win," took on heightened meaning as we all learned that “presence” certainly is much more than just physical presence or proximity. These Virtual Events enabled and encouraged us to be present with clients, colleagues, and family.

Did you miss the November NASBP Virtual Event: Managing Stress and What’s Next! or want to listen again to one or more of the keynote sessions? The on-demand recording is now available and free for all NASBP Members, Affiliates, and Associates. Engage in the opening panel session developed by the NASBP Directors-At-Large, "What Every Contractor and Surety Professional Needs to Know About the Election Results—And Plenty More" to learn how the recent election results will affect the construction industry in 2021 (panelists pictured from left to right: Dana Thompson, John "JB" Byrd, Jordan Howard, Mike Oscar, and moderator Larry LeClair). Also watch "Coping With Stress During The Pandemic Crisis: A Focus on Personal and Professional Health" with Dr. Will Miller (pictured to the right), who shares his extensive experience as a university professor, psychotherapist, stress counselor for police officers, and stand-up comedian and brings a unique and relatable message with great tips for living a well-adjusted life during stressful times! This session with Dr. Will was developed by the 5-15 Leadership Committee.
