NASBP has introduced the online course, “ Ethics for Surety Bond Producers ,” to provide surety professionals with continuing education ethics credit specific to their industry, as well as to benefit nonmembers who work closely with the industry

The curriculum includes intensive training in: contractor profiling, detailed financial analysis, concepts and effective practices of account activation and service, claims handling, industry marketplace changes, and ethics. The week-long school emphasizes the relationship between the producer, surety, and contractor, techniques for gathering information about the contractor and preparation of the case submission to the surety

Ethics Committee The Ethics Committee is a standing committee that works to heighten membership awareness of the Association’s Code of Ethics and to elevate individual and collective ethics of surety bond producers and the overall surety industry
