About the Event

The Federal Legislative Fly-in plays an important advocacy role in NASBP’s Government Relations Program, as it allows NASBP members and staff to engage in policy discussions with congressional offices that may otherwise not be possible without member’s involvement.

Please join us in the nation's capitol, February 24 & 25 for a two-day event filled with networking and advocacy opportunities. The Federal Legislative Fly-in will provide you the opportunity to voice your support for the surety bond product. Your participation as a surety advocate is critically important in helping federal policymakers (new and returning) understand the significant role bonds play on federal construction projects.

For 2026, Federal Legislative Fly-in festivities begin at 2pm on Wednesday, February 24th, with the “WASHINGTON PROGRAM,” where attendees will have the opportunity to listen to sessions from Capitol Hill leaders.

Following the Washington Program, there will be a welcome reception at the host hotel, the Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill.
