As the year 2021 comes to a close, the 2021 NASBP Highlights–The Year in Review is a celebration of the many accomplishments of NASBP members and staff.

NASBP and the membership have continued to adapt to the continued COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges it brings. They have adopted new technologies and learning tools to stay current, and diligently undertook actions and efforts that promoted and defended suretyship. Read in the Highlights about how in 2021, NASBP held its first in-person events since early 2020, the NASBP podcast “Let’s Get Surety” and NASBP Virtual Seminars continued to offer timely industry content from experts, and NASBP added to the stock of valuable resources for producers in the NASBP Producer Communications Toolkit 2.0.

The Highlights ties in 2021-2022 NASBP President Tracy Tucker’s theme, Better Together, by categorizing NASBP members’ and staff accomplishments in eight pairs: Infrastructure investments and the protections provided by surety bonds; NASBP and stakeholder and construction industry organizations; Bond producers and networking with underwriters; Surety career growth and professional development; NASBP surety professionals and industry leadership; Being in-the-know and NASBP digital communications; Stakeholders and educating them about the value and benefits of surety bonds; and Being on-the-go and audio and online learning.
