NASBP offers the following three dynamic, online courses designed to provide industry professionals with the knowledge needed to drive powerful business results.

The Commercial Surety Fundamentals course focuses on the basic laws and requirements pertaining to applicable legal contracts and the roles of the parties to the bond. The course focuses on the more common classes of commercial surety bonds and how to evaluate risk and exposure through the underwriting process. The course costs $189 and provides 10 CE credits in most states.

The Contract Surety Fundamentals course provides an orientation to the construction industry and the surety’s role in it, including what the surety looks for in a contractor, construction procurement, special services, particular concerns and popular misconceptions. The course costs $189 and provides 9 CE credits in most states.

Ethics for Surety Bond Producers, the first ethics course created by surety bond producers for surety bond producers, includes real-life examples of ethical dilemmas supplied by NASBP Members and Affiliates, enabling NASBP to offer the first course accredited for CE credits based directly on surety bond professionals’ everyday business life. The course costs $75 and provides at least three ethics CE credits in every state.

All NASBP online courses are offered through WebCE, the leading national supplier of continuing education courses for licensed insurance professionals and are open to all NASBP Members, Affiliates, and Associates as well as non-members who work in the industry and members of the public, such as construction industry professionals.

Each registrant receives 12 months of access to each course. Study on your own time; whether it’s a designated time during your work day or when your flight is delayed at the airport, the materials are always ready for you.
