On Wednesday, July 15, from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Eastern NASBP will host a panel discussion, “Current Industry Trends in Overseas Markets: A Conversation With International Surety Market Experts” developed jointly by the NASBP and the SFAA International Committees, where panelists will address current surety market trends in today’s overseas’ markets. Panelists also will explore such timely topics as the varying requirements of suretyship, opportunities for contractors in overseas markets, the disruption of the raw material supply chain from Pacific Rim countries, and the impact of COVID-19 in overseas’ markets.

This 75-minute panel discussion will be moderated by NASBP International Committee Chair, Shelia Thompson of NASBP Member Rosenberg & Parker of Canada. Joining Thompson will be several surety representatives who specialize in international suretyship. The panelists from four NASBP Affiliates are:
