The recently launched NASBP Make Surety a Career Program provides university instructors and college students with free resources to learn more about surety bonding, including classroom curriculum and an online course geared toward college students, all of which are readily accessible from the NASBP website at https://learn.nasbp.org/MakeSuretyACareer.

Curriculum Materials for College/University Faculty
The NASBP Make Surety a Career Curriculum Packet includes materials on surety bonding designed to be included in collegiate insurance and business classes. The Curriculum Packet was designed by NASBP with Professor Kurt Krogull, Director of the Jack Lockton Certificate in Insurance and Risk Management at the University of Kansas School of Business.
The packet includes an “Introduction to Surety” slide presentation, sample contractor financial statements and surety case study template, and a quiz question bank to all be incorporated into an insurance or business class. The faculty will also be able to request for surety professionals as guest speakers for his or her class. Once a professor signs up for the curriculum packet, they also gain access to all of NASBP’s member resources on surety using his or her login credentials.
Share the NASBP Make Surety a Career Curriculum Packet with professors at your alma maters and local universities who teach insurance and business classes and with whom you may have a relationship. Let NASBP know at prodev@nasbp.org what universities and professors that you have contacted.
