Risk Management LogowebThe NASBP Industry Relations Committee has organized a panel of speakers to present at the April 13-15 Risk Management in Underground Construction Virtual Course. On the second day of the course at 11 a.m. Eastern, industry experts chosen by the Committee, Michael C. Zisa and Paul G. Monte of the law firm Peckar & Abramson and AJ Sercombe of the NASBP Member Lockton Companies, will deliver a presentation, “Bonding Perspective – NASBP: From Planning to Delivery—Building Surety Confidence.”

They will address how construction projects are inherently risky and require careful planning at each stage of the project. Attendees will learn contractual risk mitigation strategy to consider at the start of each project, best practices for contract performance, and how to develop a response plan to the “what ifs” that may occur during a project’s lifecycle.

As underground construction tunneling projects get larger and more complicated, the issue of risk becomes more important. The Committee believes that it is important to help stakeholders on these projects understand how surety bonding is effective in navigating and managing these risks.

Register for the course and watch this presentation April 14, 2021, from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Eastern. Then, tune in that afternoon when the presenters will answer questions during a live Q&A session that starts at 1:30 pm Eastern. Full Course tickets are available for $495 and individual session tickets are available for $225.
