NASBP Online Educational Offerings Continue to Grow in Popularity 

“Commercial Surety Fundamentals,” a course developed by the NASBP Commercial Surety Committee in 2011 and offered through WebCE, is an excellent way to become more familiar with commercial surety, while qualifying for continuing education (CE) credit. This CE certified, online course provides a broad introduction to the types of bonds and underwriting considerations associated with commercial surety products.

Coming Soon–Contract Surety Fundamentals!

NASBP is pleased to report that after a year of development, the next NASBP online course will soon be available. This course, entitled “Contract Surety Fundamentals,” will include an overview of construction industry, an overview of types of contract surety bonds, an introduction to financial statement analysis, underwriting considerations, understanding the claims process, and will outline the roles and responsibilities of those involved in the contract surety bonding process.

The course will offer CE credit and will be available through the NASBP website this fall.
