NASBP Regional Meetings in September are Valuable Networking Opportunties

The NASBP Regional Meetings are valuable networking opportunities for NASBP surety professionals. These meetings provide the optimal venue to renew and establish new contacts and build trusting relationships among your fellow producers, affiliates, and associates.

NASBP Regions 1, 2, 3 Meeting from Sept. 15 to 17

NASBP’s Regions 1, 2 and 3 Meeting will be held near Albuquerque at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., from Sept. 15 to 17. The program will include informative sessions on the topics of tribal bonding presented by Edward Rubacha of Jennings, Haug and Cunningham; premium growth through outsourced supply and service contracts presented by James Crinnion of Capitol Insurance, Corban Enns of Surety Solutions and Steven Swartz of South Coast Surety Insurance Services; and claims and broker ethics. The meeting also will include a continuing-education (CE) session for licensed agents only titled “Tips and Tools for Maintaining Bonding in Tough Times” and presented by Anna Dime and Brian Pugh of Berkley Surety. Preregistration is required for this session. Also, NASBP is offering a new discount for the 2011 NASBP Regional Meetings that includes a discounted rate for multiple attendees registering from the same producer-member office.


NASBP Regions 4, 5, 6, & 7 Meeting from Sept. 22 to 24

NASBP Regions 4, 5, 6, & 7 will also be holding their Meeting in September from the 22 to the 24 in Austin, Texas at the Barton Creek Resort and Spa. The program will include informative sessions on a variety of topics including “When Surety Claims Go Wrong – An Obligee’s Perspective” presented by Randall Haak of The Boldt Company and “Cowboy Ethics” presented by Jim Owen. The meeting also will include the continuing-education (CE) session, for licensed agents only, titled “Tips and Tools for Maintaining Bonding in Tough Times” and presented by Anna Dime and Brian Pugh of Berkley Surety. Preregistration is required for this session. The meeting will conclude with a good ol’ Texas Barbeque for all attendees.
