NASBP understands that an important part of developing and promoting the surety market is increasing the availability of surety bonds to small and emerging contractors. Accordingly, NASBP has released a new educational resource to help producers conduct a half-day bonding education seminar targeted toward small and emerging contractors.

The “Bonding Awareness Toolkit,” created in conjunction with the NASBP Small & Emerging Business Committee, includes an instruction manual, an invitation template, and features four comprehensive and customizable PowerPoints: 1) Bonding for New and Emerging Contractors, 2) Construction Accounting, 3) Risk Management and Legal Concerns, and 4) Banking and Financing for Contractors. Designed as an easily accessible resource for producers, the  complimentaryToolkit can be downloaded from SuretyLearn.org, the NASBP learning and development platform. The NASBP membership can access the components of the Toolkit for free.
