NASBP September Regional Meetings–Save the dates for 2014 Meetings

The 2013 Regional Meetings were a huge success this September with all three meetings setting attendance records, starting with the Regions 8, 9, 10 & 11 Meeting at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island, Florida, next was the Regions 1, 2, 3 Meeting at the Park Hyatt Aviara outside of San Diego, California, and wrapping up the meetings in the Big Easy was the Regions 4, 5, 6 & 7 Meeting at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans.

The Regional Meetings featured programs addressing current industry issues including a presentation providing accounting practice updates, a panel with two state representatives offering advice to the NASBP membership in how to be successful in advocating for the surety industry, and a program on public-private partnerships that offered continuing education (CE) credit to bond producers. See pictures of some of the events held during the September Regional Meetings below.

Be sure to plan to attend the 2014 NASBP Regional Meetings. Save these dates:

  • September 18 to 20, Regions 1, 2, 3 Meeting at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, in Avon, Colorado
  • September 25 to 27, Regions 4, 5, 6 & 7 Meeting at the Westin Kierland, in Scottsdale, Arizona
  • November 2 to 4, Regions 8, 9, 10 & 11 Meeting at Charleston Place Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina
              
               The 4, 5, 6 & 7 Regional Meeting took place in New Orleans.

The 8, 9, 10, & 11 Regional Meeting held in Amelia Island, Florida
delivered networking and educational events. 

At the Regions 4,5,6 &7 Regional Meeting, Louisiana State Representative

shared advice about how surety professionals can be advocates for their industry
and businesses with legislators. Erle Benton (right) moderated the discussion.
