Save These Dates: May 15-18 to Attend NASBP Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs

The 2011 NASBP Annual Meeting is the premiere surety event of the year that surety professionals don’t want to miss. Be sure to mark these dates, May 15-18, 2011, on your calendar.

NASBP will open registration for the Meeting on Thursday, January 6. Check back on the NASBP Web site, www.nasbp.org, next Thursday for meeting information and to register online.

This year’s program will both inspire and educate. Troy Calhoun, the celebrated coach of the Air Force Academy football team, will share his insights on how you create a winning attitude in your workplace. There will be a diverse line-up of breakout sessions that includes a contractor’s panel, titled “Where’s the Work?,” a tutorial, titled “Integrated Project Management,” an update on proposed Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) changes, and a commercial surety roundup, titled “Contract Bonds for Everything but Sticks and Bricks.” In addition, this year NASBP will have an extended educational session that will offer Continuing Education (CE) credit. The Meeting will be held at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

In conjunction with the Annual Meeting, NASBP has organized an Expo that features the surety industry’s leading suppliers of products and services. The Expo provides surety professionals an opportunity to meet face-to-face with the consultants and businesses that are vital the industry.
