Summer Surety School Filling Fast!

Participants at the first Angell-Curtin Advanced Surety School (Level III), held in 2013, enjoyed an interactive, challenging course.

The 2014 Summer Surety School is four months away and already Level I is half-filled and Levels II and III are nearly full. Plan to attend this premier education program this summer and register today!

Surety School Level I, to be presented August 3-6, is intended for in-house bond department staff, producers new to contract surety, and anyone new to the industry. The three-day course wraps up with a review of all subject matter presented in an interactive, participatory format. For details about the Level I curriculum and to register, click here.

Surety School Level II, to be presented August 3-8, is intended for the bond producer/underwriter/account manager with one to six years of experience. The week-long school culminates in a real-time, interactive case presentation, requiring students to draw on concepts, applications, and methodologies presented during the entire program. The Angell-Curtin Advanced Surety School (Level III), to be offered August 5-8, is designed to address the increasingly complex challenges that surety professionals face today. This school is designed for surety professionals with more than five years of surety industry experience who have attended the Level II School or have mastered the content taught in Level II. All three levels–taught by leading industry experts from across the country–have been approved for continuing education credits.

Remember, registration opens to non-members on May 5, so all NASBP members, affiliates, and associates planning to attend Surety School this summer should register while they still have priority access. The Winter Surety School–offering Levels I and II only–will take place January 25-30, 2015, in Houston, Texas.
