Department of the Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties as of July 1, 2012 has been updated to reflect:
Effective February 21, 2013 Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company (NAIC# 27154) has been certified and added to the Circular 570.
Effective March 12, 2013 Ohio Security Insurance Company (NAIC# 24082) has been certified and added to the Circular 570.
Effective April 12, 2013, the underwriting limitations for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company (NAIC# 23043) and Safeco Insurance Company of America (NAIC# 24740) have been updated as follows: Liberty Mutual Insurance Company’s new underwriting limitation is $1,145,803,000. Safeco Insurance Company of America’s new underwriting limitation is $87,081,000. These limitations will remain in effect until June 30, 2013.
Effective April 12, 2013, the following companies have been terminated: American Economy Insurance Company (NAIC# 19690), American States Insurance Company (NAIC# 19704), General Insurance Company of America (NAIC# 24732), Safeco Insurance Company of Illinois (NAIC# 39012) and Safeco National Insurance Company (NAIC# 24759).
