Treasury Announces Changes to the T-List

The Department of the Treasury‘s Listing of Approved Sureties (Department Circular 570) as of July 1, 2011 has been updated to reflect the following:

1. 1. Western Bonding Company (NAIC# 13191) under 31 U.S.C. 9305 to qualify as an acceptable surety on Federal bonds has been terminated effective December 20, 2011.
   2. Evergreen National Indemnity Company’s (NAIC# 12750) new underwriting limitation is $3,220,00 effective December 20, 2011.
   3. American Hardware Mutual Insurance Company (NAIC# 13331) name changed to Motorists Commercial Mutual Insurance Company effective April 25, 2011.
   4. Grange Mutual Casualty Company (NAIC# 14060) has been certified and added to the Circular 570 effective January 31, 2012.
   5. Grange Insurance Company of Michigan (NAIC# 11136) has been certified and added to the Circular 570 effective January 31, 2012.
   6. Integrity Mutual Insurance Company (NAIC# 14303) has been certified and added to the Circular 570 effective January 31, 2012.
   7. First Sealord Surety, Inc. (NAIC# 28519) under 31 U.S.C. 9305 to qualify as an acceptable surety on Federal bonds has been terminated effective February 10, 2012.
   8. Nations Bonding Company (NAIC# 11595) has formally changed its name to Merchants National Bonding, Inc. and has redomesticated from the state of Texas to the state of Iowa, effective January 1, 2012.
   9. White Mountains Reinsurance Company of America (NAIC# 38776) has formally changed its name to Sirius America Reinsurance Company. The effective date of the name change is September 10, 2011.
   10. Chrysler Insurance Company (NAIC# 10499) has formally changed its name to CorePointe Insurance Company and changed its mailing address to 401 South Old Woodward Avenue, Suite 300, Birmingham, Michigan 48009, effective March 2, 2011.
