Level I – August 4 – 7, 2019 

This curriculum includes an overview of the surety industry, introductory financial statement analysis, work in process concepts and application, surety credit information gathering techniques, submissions to surety companies, review of regularly encountered surety documents and bond forms, commercial surety, and introduction to claims handling concepts.

This course is rated “basic/introductory.” It is intended for the student who has little or no knowledge of the subject matter or who has little or no prior experience with the subject matter.

Level II – August 4 – 9, 2019

This curriculum includes intensive training in contractor profiling, detailed financial analysis, concepts and effective practices of account activation and service, claims handling, industry marketplace changes, and ethics. This course is rated “intermediate.” It is intended for the student who has a basic knowledge with the subject matter or who has limited experience with the subject matter.

Level III – August 6 – 9, 2019 

Level III offers advanced instruction on financial analysis and underwriting, marketing and sales strategies, risk transfer and management, and strategic industry issues.

Commercial Surety School – August 6 – 9, 2019

The Commercial Surety School provides a deep dive into commercial surety legal requirements, underwriting processes, participant roles, and risks across an array of industries encompassing numerous types of bonds.
