Register for AAA’s May 29th Construction Conference: Maximizing ADR Advocacy for Today’s Economy
On Friday, May 29, the American Arbitration Association (AAA) will host an all day conference, titled “Construction Conference: Maximizing Alternative Dispute Resolution Advocacy for Today’s Economy.” Industry experts will discuss how to tailor the arbitration process to best serve construction client needs in these difficult times. The presenters will discuss ways to resolve disputes quickly and cost-effectively and to help clients continue to meet their projections and expectations.Timely topics of discussion presented during the conference will include:

  • controlling the arbitration process through advocacy by drafting appropriate clauses for contracts;
  • identifying the right arbitrator;
  • managing time and limiting cost during the discovery process;
  • navigating the waters of the international arbitration process, and
  • enforcing the award.

The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the New York School of Law, 40 Washington Square South, Greenberg Lounge, Vanderbilt Hall, New York. This conference qualifies for CLE credits, including one ethics credit, for the special Ethics in Arbitration session that is offered as part of the Conference.
