Opportunity to Participate in SIO’s Surety Supplement in ENR

The Surety Information Office (SIO) is gearing up to develop the special Surety Supplement in Engineering News-Record (ENR), one of the magazine’s longest running and most successful annual advertising sections. SIO works with surety industry executives to gather the latest trends and information to deliver the most widely distributed coverage of surety bonding of the year.

The Surety Supplement is slated to be published in the June 25, 2012, edition of ENR. Written by SFAA and NASBP staff and surety industry professionals, the surety supplement will feature an overview of today’s surety marketplace and will contain articles on this year’s theme: Surety and Infrastructure.

Full-page NASBP- and SFAA-member advertisers are entitled to participate in the “Executive Viewpoints” column. The early advertising deadline to be included in this benefit is June 4, 2012. NASBP and SFAA members enjoy discounted advertising rates. SIO has collaborated with ENR to develop the surety supplement since 1995. ENR distributes the issue to its entire 64,000-plus weekly paid subscribers as well as at the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI) Construction Risk Conference. Additionally, an electronic version of the supplement will be available through the SIO website after publication.

SIO AWARDS

Submissions for the SIO Gold, Silver, and Advocacy Awards have been received and are being evaluated. The submissions are judged by the SIO Policy Board, which is composed of SFAA and NASBP executive committee members.

The awards will be presented the morning of Tuesday, May 1, during the NASBP Annual Meeting held in Orlando, FL from April 29-May 2, 2012 and Thursday, May 10, 2012, during the General Session of SFAA’s Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
