NASBP held successful 2024 West and East Fall Meetings in September. The NASBP West Meeting in Carlsbad, CA included a golf tournament and a keynote session by Jason Cabel Roe titled "The Race for the White House and the Future of Congress." The NASBP East Meeting in New Orleans offered an optional New Orleans cooking class and a keynote session by Gene Marks on economic, political, and technological trends.
Both Fall Meetings included an update on bonding for the BEAD Program, a discussion of the bond producer's role in the surety claims process, a look at the growth of AI, and a presentation from NASBP President Zach Mendelson and guest Kurt Krogull on making surety a bigger part of insurance education. There was also a happy hour for 5-15 Leadership Committee members at each meeting.
Each NASBP Fall Meeting also had social events hosted by Women in Surety (WIS). The West Meeting had a pickleball tournament and the East Meeting had a music walking tour.

Each of the 2024 NASBP Fall Meetings held a happy hour for 5-15 Leadership Committee Members. Underwriters were also invited.
