New Slide Presentation Added to NASBP Producer Communications Toolkit 2.0

Looking to refresh your presentation format for small and emerging contractors? Or maybe you have your very first presentation to contractors coming up and aren’t sure where to begin?

NASBP Producer Communications Toolkit 2.0, has a new resource, which can be found in the "RESOURCES" dropdown menu at "Producer Resources (Members)." Member login required.

Your Path to Surety Credit Intro Slide“Your Path to Surety Credit: How Surety Bonds Will Help Grow Your Construction Business” is a new PowerPoint presentation geared towards small and emerging contractors and contractors new to surety bonding. This slide template is divided into four parts—Bonding Basics, Process of Obtaining a Bond (with a subsection on Contractor Financial Statements), The Role of Each Party, and Additional Items.

Contractor Bonding Education Program SlideThe slide deck incorporates information and videos from the NASBP & SFAA Contractor Bonding Education and Mentoring Program, using resources and language that were created by surety professionals. It also uses information from the NASBP Bonding Awareness Toolkit, another well-honed set of materials to help producers conduct a half-day bonding awareness seminar.

Customize this slideThis template is customizable for the bond producer’s presentation time and audience. Slides are fully editable, and items that aren’t applicable to the audience can be deleted. There are slides that require customization—see slides 1, 2, 11, and 79. Some slides also include speaker notes, which producers can use as guidance on specific points to address during their presentations.

Video SlideFive slides include videos of industry professionals performed by character personalities from the Contractor Bonding Education and Mentoring Program. If you are connected to the internet for the presentation, just press the “play button” graphic on the image. The videos are web-based, not stored in the presentation, so if you’re not connected to the internet, they will not play.

We hope NASBP bond producers take advantage of this helpful new PowerPoint to update presentations to small and emerging contractors. A special thanks to the NASBP Industry Relations Committee for their work in creating this valuable resource!
