Summary

The law authorizes municipalities to solicit private investors for financing for public facility projects through negotiated partnership agreements. The private financing would be in addition to public sources and user fees that the municipality may seek to fund the project. The construction and operation of a public facility under this law must be in conformity with all laws relating to the use of state and federal funds.
