NASBP held successful West and East Fall Meetings in September and October! The Roundtable Discussions Happy Hour was once again a big hit at both meetings. The NASBP West Meeting, held in Austin, TX, enjoyed a Keynote presentation on the volatility of current economic issues from Chris Kuehl of Armada Corporate Intelligence, while the NASBP East Meeting in Philadelphia had Keynote speaker Commander Mary C. Kelly share an economic outlook with business strategies tailored for surety professionals.

New for 2026 was a Surety School Alumni Happy Hour at each Fall Meeting, where students and faculty could network and reminisce.

Both Fall Meetings offered a well-received presentation on AI from Sam Richter of SBR Worldwide. Each meeting also had a presentation from Brandy Carbone of MarshBerry about the 2026 Surety Benchmarking Survey, and a session with Jessica Krause of New Lyfe Accounting about unlocking growth and breaking limiting beliefs.

NASBP co-hosted optional events at each Meeting with Women in Surety (WIS) that were very well-attended. Seventy people attended the West Meeting’s Salsa and Margarita Workshop and over 80 attended the East Meeting’s event at Cellar Dog Philadelphia.
