Virtual Seminars – Information and Education Delivered to You
It has been over three years since the first NASBP Virtual Seminar was launched in March 2009. In March 2012, Dr. Scott MacDonald, an economist at Southern Methodist University and President and CEO, SW Graduate School of Banking, delivered his fourth presentation on the state of the economy and the prospects for the surety industry in the year ahead.
Since January this year NASBP has held six seminars and has more scheduled through December 2012. Many member firms have NASBP Virtual Seminar Tuesdays integrated into their calendars.
On May 15, NASBP will offer a seminar on Employee Stock Owner Plans, a topic that has proved to be of great interest to many. Wayne Fjeld and Dena Herbolich of Moss Adams LLP will present “Getting Up to Speed on ESOPs: What Surety Professionals Need to Know.” Registration for this is now open.
