Contract Surety Schools

Level I – January 25–28, 2026
Perfect for: Those new to the industry or to contract surety.

For professionals new to surety, Level I provides a solid foundation in the fundamentals, helping build understanding of financial statements, work-in-process (WIP) concepts, preparation of submissions to sureties, bond forms, and the basics of claims and commercial surety. The experience is highly interactive, guided by expert instructors who make the learning process approachable and engaging.

Level II – January 25–30, 2026
Perfect for: Producers, underwriters, and account managers with 1–6 years of experience.

Building on Level I and on the understanding of financial statements and work-in-process (WIP) concepts, this program explores more advanced concepts such as contractor profiling, detailed financial analysis, account servicing, ethics, and claims. You’ll work through real-life cases and group projects, culminating in a live, interactive case presentation that reinforces everything you’ve learned.

Commercial Surety Schools

Level I – January 25–28, 2026

Commercial surety encompasses a diverse range of bonds and obligations. This three-day workshop breaks down the key elements of the commercial surety process—from legal requirements and financial analysis to underwriting principles and risk evaluation.
