Mary Jeanne Anderson, President of Surety at The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. in Worcester, MA, recently provided the 5-15 Leadership Circle an overview of the surety operation of The Hanover Insurance Group. In addition, she discussed the company’s recent partnership with ICW Group, which she indicated will enhance their overall operation, bring additional resources, and further expand their surety footprint throughout the United States.

Anderson, who was the guest speaker during the group’s quarterly conference call, was joined by her Hanover colleagues Mark Fitzgerald, who leads their Contract Surety area, and Merritt Willits, who leads their Commercial Surety area. Each provided their individual perspectives on the current contract and commercial surety markets and what they anticipate in the year ahead.

The 5-15 Leadership Circle, chaired by Don Appleby of Willis of Colorado in Denver, CO, is a NASBP committee of producers with 5 to 15 years of experience in the surety industry. The members of the Committee participate in events, activities, and programs designed to broaden their exposure to strategic industry issues, introduce them to industry thought leaders, and provide them with opportunities to become more involved in the work of the association. In addition, 5-15 members are eligible for discounts to attend the Annual Meeting and the Regional Meetings.
