NASBP 2012 Washington Week, June 24-28, 2012

Join us for NASBP 2012 Washington Week, June 24-28, – a unique opportunity for the membership to participate in three back-to-back events, one location, one hotel.

NASBP will kick off Washington Week with the 2012 Regions 8, 9, 10 & 11 Annual Meeting, which will feature a continuing education (CE) credit session, networking receptions, and timely programming to address current industry topics. There will also be a special afternoon session at the Capitol Hill Club, a private club that will give attendees a real “taste of DC politics.”

The week will continue with the 2012 Legislative Fly-In. In its third consecutive year, this critical NASBP event is for motivated and passionate surety professionals to meet with their members of Congress on Capitol Hill. NASBP members, affiliates, and associates are invited to take part in advocating for our government relations agenda and remind federal government officials how important the surety product is in protecting tax payers dollars.

Washington Week will conclude with the 2012 Federal Contracting Workshop. Taught by experts in federal contracting, this two day NASBP workshop offers insights into current trends in federal construction procurement, public-private partnerships, joint ventures, teaming agreements, mentor-protégé agreements, Small Business Administration certification, keys to finding federal construction work, as well as a discussion on considerations relating to the False Claims Act.
