The Summer Session of the NASBP William J. Angell Surety School was held in Miami, Florida for the first time in the School’s history. This exciting location was well received by students and faculty alike. Here’s a wrap-up of the week:
Level I
NASBP hosted two Level I classes during this session of the school. The faculty included Dedi Belis, Erle Benton, Matt Cashion, and Tom Durkin. The students where instructed in topics ranging from contractor financial statement analysis, work-in-process, claims, ethics, and commercial surety. Students applied their new knowledge through case-study exercises and the always popular “Surety Jeopardy.”
