NASBP recently held successful East and West Fall Meetings with record-breaking attendance. The NASBP East Meeting in Nashville offered an optional Nashville Food and History Walking Tour and a Keynote Presentation from singer-songwriter Kelley Ann Williams titled “All In in Music City.” The NASBP West Meeting in Las Vegas included a sold-out golf tournament and a keynote session by a professional poker player, Tiffany Michelle.

Both Fall Meetings included an update on the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation and two sessions focusing the Enron scandal—the first with Sherron Watkins, the Enron whistleblower, on the importance of ethical leadership, and the second with a panel discussion on the lessons surety professionals can learn from the scandal. Each NASBP Fall Meeting also had a maximum capacity SHE Golfs Clinic, a joint effort between NASBP and Women in Surety (WIS), sponsored by Travelers Bond.
