NASBP to Provide Members Guidance, Tools on Efficient Use of Tablet Technology

To meet NASBP Members’ growing need for efficiency and for staying “connected” to clients through technology, NASBP is providing members a Virtual Seminar that will address how to maximize an agency’s use of tablet technology. The NASBP Virtual Seminar, titled “Tablet Technology – How To Maximize Time Out of the Office,” will be held on July 24 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time. NASBP Past President Matt Cashion and NASBP Automation & Technology Committee Chair Nick Newton will describe the numerous ways NASBP agencies and their staff can use these indispensable mobile devices and related apps, accessories, data plans, and more. To register for this July 24 NASBP Virtual Seminar, click here.

NASBP also is conducting a survey of NASBP Members to learn about their agency’s use of tablet technology including iPads, Blackberry Playbooks, Google Android-based tablets, Microsoft Slates, or other devices. Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated. To complete this brief survey no later than Friday, June 29, 2012, click here.

Survey participants will be one of the first to receive the report consisting of the compiled results. Based on these survey results, NASBP will release more tablet-related resources later in the year. Please direct questions to Dave Golden, NASBP Director of Technology, at dgolden@nasbp.org.
