NASBP Summer Surety School Levels I, II, and III Open for Priority Registration
Registration for the Summer Session of the NASBP Surety School is now open for NASBP members, affiliates and associates. In addition to Levels I and II, NASBP will offer one class of the Angell-Curtin Advanced Surety School (Level III). Space is limited and usually sells out early.
For nearly four decades, the School has provided students with the opportunity to learn the business from the top surety producers and underwriters in the country. The pictures below are from the NASBP 2015 Winter Surety School. The 2015 Summer Session will take place from Aug. 2 to 7 in Atlanta, Georgia.

| As part of the Level II course, students play a brief game that tests their knowledge of concepts and terms used throughout the week. Prizes are awarded to make the friendly competition a bit more challenging. |
Level II
The intensive, five-day Level II course teaches students the basics of profiling clients, analyzing work in process, understanding cash flow and its importance to a contractor’s financial stability, creating an account submission, dealing with different types of claims, and managing risk. It concludes with a case study that offers participants an opportunity to put into practice all the knowledge and skills learned during the week. This program is a must for producers and underwriters with less than five years of experience. Others who have benefited from the class include claims assistants, risk advisors, analysts, and customer service representatives. The registration fee for members, affiliates and associates is $1,785. Please click here, for Level II Information.
Level III
Offered only once a year, the Angell-Curtin Advanced Surety School (Level III) centers on advanced financial analysis and underwriting concepts along with marketing and sales strategies, large account commercial surety, risk management, and strategic industry issues. This three-day course is designed for surety professionals with at least five years in the business and is great for those who recently took Level II and want to continue their professional development with the classes designed and taught by longtime bond producers and underwriters.
